Stretching and don't want to get rid of your 18g NeoMetal collection? Have a 16g or a 14g piercing and want to wear their trinity and flower ends? Your lucky day is here!
This "universal" labret post can be 18g, 16g or 14g, but it fits 18g NeoMetal ends. The disk and labret post are a one-piece design. The disk is 5/32" or 2.5 mm on the 18g, 5/32" on the 16g and 3/16" on 14g. The disk is not removable.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This 16g UNIVERSAL post does NOT fit 16g ends, and the 14g UNIVERSAL post does NOT fit 14g ends. It fits ONLY 18g NeoMetal ends. 18g NeoMetal ends have a straight pin on the back, while 14g and 16g ends have a small bulb on the tip of the pin.

Check out the following table to see exactly what ends fit which gauge. A blank cell indicates the particular end isn't made in that size. NeoMetal recommends having gem ends no smaller than 2mm for 16g or 14g. Some 2mm ends will fit 14g, others are not recommended.

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO NEOMETAL JEWELRY:
  • NeoMetal has discontinued the 16g and 14g traditional threadless labret posts and barbell, replacing them with the new universal threadless labret posts and universal threadless barbells.
  • Both the universal barbell and labret post take ONLY 18g ends, NOT 16g or 14g ends. ALL 18g ends will fit ALL the universal posts or barbells, regardless of the gauge of the post.
  • 18g ends have a straight pin on the back. 16g and 14g ends have a pin with a small bulb. If your end has a small bulb, it will not work with universal posts.
  • To summarize, all 16g and 14g traditional labrets and barbells and all 16g and 14g ends have been discontinued by NeoMetal.

So much better than the cheap post I was using before. Fits perfectly and doesn't cause any irritation. This is the first threadless post I've used and I'm pleasantly surprised with how tight and secure it feels.
