HORN AND BONE JEWELRY IS ETHICALLY SOURCED
Horn and bone jewelry is a byproduct of water buffalo, which is a major food source in Indonesia. This means that animals are never killed to create jewelry! Materials are recycled which would otherwise go to waste to make all of the lovely horn and bone jewelry.
This pair of Icarus is hand carved from Arang Wood by the master carvers at Urban Star. This design is a new addition to the Steampunk Collection. Both sides of the design are carved, so it looks great from front or back! The overall length is directly proportional to the gauge. For example, the overall length of the 8g is about 2-5/8", and the overall length of the 7/16" is about 3-1/16", while both gauges measure about 3/4" across at the widest point.
Please Note: Arang wood is typically a very dark, almost black wood, however due to natural variations in the wood, some pieces may have lighter brown sections. This is completely normal, and not considered a defect.
