Are you tired of losing the beads from your captive bead rings? Or are you just frustrated with trying to get that darn bead inserted? Then a fixed bead ring may be the answer for you. Unlike captive bead rings, where the bead is held in place by the tension of the ring, fixed bead rings have a ball fixed to one side of the ring. The ring is annealed which means you can easily bend the ring open to insert it in your piecing and then just bend the end back into place. This ring is available in both 20 and 18 gauge and five inside diameters from 1/4" to 1/2". The fixed bead on all rings is 1/8" in diameter. This fixed bead ring is made from 316LVM ASTM F-138 implant grade stainless steel.

This works really well. I have a really difficult time with the captive beads without help and this is easily done by myself. It would be great if they had different beads.

Absolutely love! Ordered two to try them out for my tragus piercings and love them. I used to pierce and always hated dealing with the beads when I had to use a CBR, especially when it came to my own piercings! The fixed bead ring is easy to put in yourself and it is great because you never have to worry about losing the ball.
