Captive bead rings can be worn almost anywhere you have a piercing. This economy captive bead ring is made from implant grade 316L stainless steel and has a 316L stainless steel bead. With a variety of different sizes to choose from you're sure to find one that's perfect for you.
Above 4g, these rings can be extremely difficult to open, especially since they're not annealed. Make sure you have the proper tools, such as ring opening pilers, or a piercer who can help out!
I must have ordered the wrong diameter to go with the gauge, because the ring has big chunky ends where the ball sits. I wanted more of a seamless look. These are great for the price, I've paid double at a piercing place in the past. My advice if you don't have the tools for opening and closing captive rings, just take them to your piercer and have them insert them for you for a small fee.
I bought this for my left-side lip piercing, it was great except the captive bead ring is really tight and it's nearly impossible to get the ball in and out without professional tools. I just wear it without the ball and it's just fine.
I was using these for stretching my ears. The balls are really tricky to get into place even when they are not inserted, and the further up in gauge I went the worse it got. I had a terrible time with these and ended up having to use O-rings to hold the ring in place instead.

I really love this CBR. I wasn't sure how well I'd like this style, since I've only gotten the kind with the blunt tips, but I think that I actually like the pointed tips better. Very high quality stainless steel, too.
Nice little ring. I think its the first CBR that I've had with properly centered dimples on the bead! It isn't hugely springy however, so opening pliers sometimes open it too much and the gap stays too big if you aren't careful.
