This guide was really helpful for my first piercings. I went to a local piercer and she gave me all the same information, only verbally. Most of it I forgot because I was so excited and nervous for my belly button piercing. Having it in print helped me a lot. Getting other piercings at different places, they did give a helpful little sheet about care though.
