Default Blow-Out City!

Well I finally went and did it. I got my first blowout. I guess the Double Flared stone plugs I have been wearing were just a tad too big.


It formed from the fistula of another piercing that had gotten absorbed by the lower hole. Many moons ago I went to a shop and got stretched from 12g to 0g. Not sure if I was scalpeled or punched but when I walked out I had one less piercing on that side.

It never caused any problems before, but the tiny remnant of that second hole was always visible inside the first hole.

Now it REALLY visible.

So I will slowly downsize. Don't want to go lower that 00g, but I hope it'll help anyway. And massage daily and hope it goes away.

Deb, I'm really sorry that happened to you! Yes, please let us know how it goes. This can really be educational for everyone here.

I guess they weren't sure what they were looking at!

Saddest thing is my package came today: Ruby colorfronts, DF, my pink gemmed PVD DF, and DF Opalite plugs.

And I can't wear any of them. Maybe I can try - just cause i DID promise pictures.

Tomorrow. Then its naked ears til Monday.

Eek! Sorry to hear that. I've had my navel blow out a couple of times for no reason (never stretched it, not wearing inappropriate jewelry, etc.) so I can sympathize. Best of luck for a speedy recovery!
