The only thing I can think of is maybe they didn't go deep enough? When I was having one of mine touched up by my husband's cousin, my husband used the black needle to give himself a tattoo on his knuckle. It was just a dot....he called it "Earth from Afar".

Anyway...he did not go very deep at all, and it peeled off and there is no sign of his "Earth" now.

And by blowing out....do you mean like there are skip spots in it?

hmmmmm that could be!

well, there ARE skip spots on the REALLY thin parts. But by "blowing out" I mean that the ink actually like... expanded. as in some parts actually got fatter!
