    Default Goals.

So, I've been keeping a to-do list or a list of goals, and I thought it might be fun to share, and also ask you all what your goals are! So, in the name of more conversation and learning about you, here goes:

    get suspenders
    get saw for brian (check!)
    get out of rockford (check!)
    roll down hills
    get job
climb trees with or without heels
    go back to barcelona
play more music with more people
bring blanket to top of mountain behind city
    explore south america
    get un-job (check??)
Live in Minneapolis with Josie and leave the 1700 euros in Spain for when go back.
    explore north Africa
hula hoop more (semi-check, this one isn't finished, but in process)
    get cats
    hang out on tiffany's couch
    more tattoos
    learn Ion's giant song
    learn Catalan
    get science job here
go to grad school in barcelona
    more Les Jordis
    learn lots of words.
    be a scientist in spain.
get Adriana and Holger to come visit the Barcelona!
    wake up with pancakes
    go to Terragona.

It is ever-growing, and also not in any specific order. What do you guys want to do?

That's a huge list. My list is actually REALLY short. It's not that I don't have things I want to do ... it's that my brain is pretty dumb when it comes to recalling things like that on command.

Anyhow, having said that, here are some goals of mine:

    1. Get my Associate's Degree (AAS). I've already met one goal, which was to actually GO to school. I started three weeks ago after having not been in any sort of classroom at all in over 19 years. I'm currently attending Ivy Tech. Here's the website: http://www.ivytech.edu/

    2. Get a better job. Working two jobs is baloney and eventually I want to be able to have ONE decent-paying job (see #1).

    3. Get out of debt. Credit cards are evil. I got sucked into that trap about ten years ago.

    4. Travel more. I love getting away from here and going anywhere, really. I just love the idea of going SOMEWHERE, ANYWHERE, and getting to do things that I don't or can't here at home. For instance ... I've been to Myrtle Beach, SC three times now. My favorite part about going? Walking along the beach looking for shells, and going to sleep at night to the sound of the ocean. Pretty simple stuff, but profound at the same time.

    5. More piercings and more tattoos. I'm living proof that you're never "too old". That "too old" line is BS, anyways. Do I WONDER sometimes if I've overcrowded my ears and face? Sure. But I'm still not too old. LOL
i'm in too deep, i'm in over my head this time
can't get you out of my mind no matter how hard i try

    Mine contradict each other sometimes.

    1. get a car.
    2. buy more guns/ammo/standard capacity mags. Mostly stuff Obama would ban the first chance he gets. Better investment than stock market. $500 rifle+ban= $5000 rifle $10 magazine+ban= $125 magazine. You get the picture.

    3. new motorcycle
    4. new place to live
    5. save some money
    6. make "bug out bag(s)" for eventual zombie apocolypse
    7. get a 3 legged dog
    8. find a woman to come and mess it all up again.
The future belongs to those few of us still willing to get our hands dirty.

Sela, don't see my list of goals as a measure of how motivated I am or to mean that I have huge plans with my life, it's something I've been working on since I got back from Barcelona in July, and every time I think of something, I put it on there. That's almost as good as actually doing it, right?

Going back to school after 19 years is pretty damn admirable, I wish you the best of luck!

Also, PiercedinPittsburgh, that's hilarious! My goals also contradict one another and aren't even organized into two different paths, see: Live with Josie in Minneapolis, and ... oops! it's not there. Right now, I'm looking in chicago for jobs. hehe.

Now the goal is to get back.
Find the proper help for my son so he can start being a "normal" kid.
    Get piggie tattoo.
    Get alien-nun tattoo.
    Stretch lobes to 5/8"
    Learn to drive.

    Find another job.
Find the love of my life. (sigh...)
    Get more piercings/tattoos.
    Move somewhere green.
    Take art classes for fun.
    Travel.
Do a better job of saving money (which contradicts a few of the above ).

    1. get out of walmart
    2. get a new car
    3. find a new place to live
    4. go back to school
    5. marry a sane woman that i love
    6. see the great pyramids of Giza
    7. see the lourve

Every heart sings a song, incomplete, until another heart whispers back. Those who wish to sing always find a song. At the touch of a lover, everyone becomes a poet.

    OOOH! Good one.

I don't wanna worry about money any more either. Think in my case, death is the only thing that'll work for me.

My brother told me he just got back from a visit with his financial planner. He was told he's right on track for retirement! He just needs to keep working until he dies!!!!!
